Ну, я книгу вообще считаю очень слабой. Неудачный женский роман. А в фильме великие актеры, и красивый он. С Толкиеном у меня тоже не сложилось ни с книгами, ни с фильмом. Но это мои личные заморочки относительно жанра фэнтези.
